Dave Piacente was the writer of Elemental Selenium -- a free, once weekly Selenium tip newsletter that's read by thousands of testing professionals.
He was also the creator and maintainer the-internet (an open-source web app that's perfect for writing automated tests against), author of The Selenium Guidebook, and an active member of the Selenium project.
Formerly as a Software Developer at Applitools he worked full-time as a maintainer of Selenium IDE.
He's helped numerous companies successfully implement automated acceptance testing; including The Motley Fool, ManTech International, Sittercity, and Animoto. He's also spoken at numerous conferences and meet-ups around the world about automated functional testing.
Now he is the Senior Manager of DevRel & Community at Applitools.
