Hi, everyone.
Welcome to the Continuous Compliance Testing with InSpec course of Test Automation University.
In this course, you will learn how to create automated tests with InSpec to introduce compliance as code.
You will see how easy it is to transform policy requirements defined by industry standards into human-readable specifications, which can be executed in a continuous delivery pipeline.
By the end of this course, you will be able to grade and execute compliance checks with InSpec.
This course is designed to accelerate your understanding and usage of InSpec.
You will learn what compliance as code is all about and how you can implement continuous compliance testing in your delivery pipeline with InSpec.
You will install InSpec and write the typical Hello World control.
You will work with the InSpec command line interface (CLI) and the InSpec shell.
You will learn how you can use controls, resources, matchers, and profiles, which are the main building blocks of InSpec.
You will create your own controls and an InSpec profile to validate PCI-DSS compliance.
