Recommended Prerequisite
If you haven't already taken the beginner level automated visual testing course on Test Automation University, I recommend you start there — unless you already have experience using the Applitools Eyes API, which is the tool we'll be using.
In this advanced course, we'll focus on test design considerations for visual testing, answering the questions of what type of tests need visual validation and where should visual testing be added within your test automation framework.
We'll discuss cross-platform visual testing strategies, the maintenance of your baselines, and how to easily propagate updates across multiple tests when your app changes.
We'll look at UI version control and how you can see the visual progression of your application.
And finally, we'll look into execution strategies for continuous integration.
