Robot Framework is a really rich tool. It has many different uses, many different languages it can plug into, and many different libraries that have been created just for you.
You can use it for API testing, for UI testing, for database testing. Any library that you can create in Python is automatically available for it.
There's way too much to go over then I've gone over here.
