Welcome to Test Automation University. My name is Aparna Gopalakrishnan and I will be your instructor for this course on Introduction to Continuous Integration and Automating Tests with Jenkins.
In this course we will be looking at the "What" and "Why" of continuous integration (CI).
We will cover commonly used CI tools and do a deep dive into installing and configuring Jenkins, one of the most popular CI tools.
We will understand how to create, configure, and execute jobs in Jenkins, including automated test execution.
For demonstration purposes we will create automated tests using Selenium and Java.
We will also look at some of the available post-build actions such as reporting and sending emails.
